This is a one of a kind handmade sterling and coin silver buckle and pin combination.  
The buckle is an Eye shape stamped and engraved with a Moundbuilder pottery motif and is set with a detachable center pin made from a 1925 U.S. silver dollar.  
The pin is a Star design with four Crescent Moons in the Four Directions.  It is bead set with 4 very high quality chrome pyrope garnets and 1 andradite garnet in the center.  
Removing the center pin reveals a Sun symbol cutout pattern in the center.
I created this buckle about 10 years ago and was very happy to be able to trade back for it recently.

• Made from sterling silver.
• 4" wide, 2 1/2" high
• Weighs 3.3 ounces with the pin attached.
• 2 1/2" throw (space between the buckle bar and the post).
• Pin is approximately 1 1/2" in diameter
• Four bead set 3 mm faceted trillion shaped chrome pyrope garnets
• One 4 mm round faceted andradite garnet.
